Databricks and OpenAI have launched a multi-year, $100 million partnership to bring OpenAI models natively into the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and its flagship AI product, Agent Bricks. This collaboration makes OpenAI models, including GPT-5, available to more than 20,000 Databricks customers across cloud environments, enabling enterprises worldwide to build production-grade AI apps and agents directly on governed enterprise data.
Enterprise-Ready AI Agents
Businesses increasingly need AI agents capable of analyzing enterprise data, automating workflows, and delivering accurate insights while meeting strict governance and security standards. Through Agent Bricks, organizations can now leverage GPT-5 for natural language processing, reasoning, and complex decision-making. Because models are embedded directly in the platform, customers avoid duplicating data or juggling multiple tools, while benefiting from guaranteed high-capacity processing.
Enterprises are already using Databricks and Agent Bricks to accelerate breakthroughs in healthcare, improve energy efficiency, detect financial fraud, streamline software development, and more.
Executive Perspectives
