AMD and HPE Expand Collaboration to Deliver Open, Rack-Scale AI Infrastructure

AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) today announced an expanded collaboration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to accelerate the next generation of open, scalable AI infrastructure built on AMD leadership compute technologies.
As part of the collaboration, HPE will become one of the first system providers to adopt the AMD “Helios” rack-scale AI architecture, integrating a purpose-built HPE Juniper Networking scale-up switch—developed in collaboration with Broadcom—and software to deliver seamless, high-bandwidth Ethernet connectivity.
Helios brings together AMD EPYC™ CPUs, AMD Instinct™ GPUs, AMD Pensando™ advanced networking, and the AMD ROCm™ open software stack into a cohesive platform optimized for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
The architecture is engineered to simplify deployment of large-scale AI clusters, enabling faster time to solution and greater flexibility across research, cloud, and enterprise environments.
