InfluxData, creator of the leading time series database InfluxDB, announced the availability of InfluxDB 3 Core and InfluxDB 3 Enterprise on Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB. InfluxDB 3 Core is an open-source, high-speed engine for real-time applications, while InfluxDB 3 Enterprise adds high availability, enhanced security, and scalability for production environments. This marks the first time InfluxDB 3 is available as a managed service on AWS, enabling developers to leverage its next-generation time series database without managing infrastructure.

Time series data is critical for real-time systems, capturing when and how events occur to power AI/ML models, predictive analytics, and autonomous systems. InfluxDB 3 processes high-volume streaming and sensor data in real-time, allowing developers to manage millions of high-resolution data streams while connecting seamlessly to AWS services like Lambda, SageMaker, and Kinesis for AI/ML workflows and instant decision-making.

InfluxDB 3 Enterprise on Amazon Timestream provides a powerful engine for managing time series data at scale with features like multi-region durability, read replicas, automatic failover, enhanced security, and diskless cloud-native architecture for low-latency performance. InfluxDB 3 Core allows open-source developers to get started quickly on AWS.

Both Core and Enterprise include a built-in Processing Engine, a Python VM that allows real-time data transformation, enrichment, monitoring, and alerting without external pipelines. Built with Rust and powered by Apache Flight, DataFusion, Arrow, and Parquet, InfluxDB 3 delivers high performance, flexibility, and low-cost storage for analytical workloads.
