LILT, the AI-powered translation and content generation platform, has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Werner Koepf as Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO). With over 25 years of experience, Koepf brings deep expertise in product leadership and infrastructure development from top-tier companies including Amazon, Expedia, Ticketmaster, and Karat.

In his new role, Koepf will lead the advancement of LILT’s AI architectures and platform capabilities, ensuring customers benefit from cutting-edge natural language processing and scalable tools that enhance global customer experiences and accelerate go-to-market initiatives. He will report directly to LILT’s CEO and co-founder, Spence Green.

“Werner is an exceptional leader,” said Green. “Under his direction, we are well-positioned to continue building the AI-powered apps and services that will help bring LILT’s industry-leading services to more and more global organizations.”

Koepf’s career includes influential roles managing engineering programs that enabled global expansion and technological breakthroughs. At Amazon, he led teams responsible for key features on Amazon.com, while at Ticketmaster, he developed the order processing engine that supported the company’s resale platform. His strengths in technology, business strategy, and team-building make him uniquely suited to help scale LILT’s platform and offerings.

“I’ve followed LILT’s journey for several years now and was impressed by its ability to continue penetrating hard-to-crack enterprise customers,” said Koepf. “LILT has both the technology and the culture necessary to create a generational company. The energy, intelligence, and intensity I’ve witnessed from my new colleagues have me invigorated to help write the company’s next chapter.”

This appointment comes on the heels of several major milestones for LILT, including the launch of custom large language models (LLMs) for over 100 languages, integrations with 60 enterprise systems, and new features designed to improve AI cost management. LILT also introduced one-step video captioning, translation, and dubbing tools, enhancing its ability to process highly sensitive and mission-critical content efficiently.
