The International Data Center Authority (IDCA) announced a strategic alliance with Khazna Data Centers (Khazna), the largest data center owner and operator in the Middle East. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Khazna will align all operations with IDCA’s globally recognized standards, covering data center design, service delivery, cloud and AI deployments, and workforce development. This initiative ensures Khazna’s portfolio meets the highest levels of performance, resiliency, and compliance set by IDCA.
Khazna is also building infrastructure to support the recently announced 5GW AI Hub in the UAE, while expanding globally to Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Egypt, Türkiye, France, and Italy.
“This strategic alliance between IDCA and Khazna is a game-changer for the Middle East and sets new standards of excellence globally,” said IDCA Chairman and CEO Mehdi Paryavi. “Khazna plays a critical role in the future of digital infrastructure for Cloud and AI, and adopting IDCA standards demonstrates their commitment to global impact.”

The certification process, initiated on July 1, 2025, includes comprehensive audits of Khazna’s infrastructure, operational protocols, and corporate systems. Dedicated teams from both organizations are overseeing full compliance and certification.
